About IKALTO FAMILY CELLAR: Wine has been made in our family cellar for many decades. It was handed down to us by our ancestors. The uniqueness of our wine is that we preserve the age-old technology of winemaking. Kvevri wine production requires a lot of experience and hard work. We adhere to biological and ecological standards throughout the entire production cycle. Our goal is to bring you the inherent taste of Kakhetian endemic grape varieties. Wine is made using the harvest from our vineyards. The wine is stored in an internal cellar at a specially selected temperature. From grafting to bottling we ensure to bring natural and precious wine to you.
IKALTO FAMILY CELLAR opinion on GCWine: GCWine and blockchain are new and interesting matters for us. Ushangi Matiashvili, the founder of the company, is himself helping us, the winemakers, to raise awareness about blockchain. Information about this field may have been vague earlier, but today it is a reality and has great prospects for future development.
